Bamboo Charcoal VS Machine-Made Bamboo Charcoal

The Bamboo Charcoal can be divided into two types:
#Original Bamboo Charcoal#
The structure of bamboo charcoal is loose and porous, it has dense and porous molecule and hard texture. The charcoal has a strong adsorption capacity, can purify the air, eliminate peculiar smell, absorb moisture and anti-mildew, control the bacteria and drive insects away. Contacting with the human body can absorb sweat, clear the damp, promote blood circulation and metabolism and alleviate fatigue. The traditional charcoal is burning with a little smoke, easy to control. It is obtained by the destructive distillation of Bamboo. How to identify the good or bad quality of Machine-made Bamboo Charcoal ?

Color: Bright Black
If the color turns to gray, that means the moisture out of the limits. It’s easier to observe the color from the cross section of charcoal. If the color turn to yellow, which means carbonization time is not enough.

Hardness:
You cannot break the charcoal easily when single hand grabs it. Better hardness, better quality.

Sound:
Beating the two piece of charcoal should have metallic sound like ringing.
If the sound is not clear that indicates moisture out of limits.

Crack:
A few cracks will not affect the quality. But large area crack means bad density of semi-products or too much oxygen supplied during carbonization process. So crack can’t shrink enough.

About Storage:
Please store the product in a cool and dry place, to avoid both inside and outside packing bag broken, to avoid from moisture and other substances in the air that affect the charcoal.
